Two changes to the PC page, both about what a responder meets first.

LIVE STATE FIRST. The contributed panels moved to the head of the card flow.
The grid is a two-column FLOW (column-count, with display:contents on the
column wrappers), so a card cannot be pinned to a side and only document order
decides where it lands - putting the panels first fills the left column with
endpoint status, services, processes, interfaces and activity, and leaves
identity, hardware, network and location to the right. Panels still self-order
among themselves by declared position and still self-hide when no plugin
answers for the asset type.

ONE ACTIVITY FEED replaces the Recent events card. Events and commands answer
the same question - what happened to this box - and reading them as two lists
meant interleaving by eye. GET /api/endpoints/asset/<id>/activity merges them
newest-first, capped at 15. Both are keyed by assetid, so it is two indexed
reads and a merge sort rather than a join, and it renders through the existing
ADR-010 list renderer with no bespoke frontend work. A failed command is marked
critical, because that is the row somebody needs to notice. Not collapsed by
default, unlike the card it replaces.

The core AuditLog is deliberately NOT a third source: its rows carry the action
as the entity name and the asset only inside a details string, so including it
would mean parsing prose to find out which machine a row belongs to.

Requester names are withheld from callers who cannot themselves issue commands,
via caller_holds. A read-only viewer - a guest, on a site that grants this
panel - gets the history without a roster of who restarted what, and the lookup
is skipped entirely rather than fetched and discarded. requestedby holds a user
ID, so names resolve through one batched query, not one per row.

Verified on dev telemetry: a queued command shows as 'Collect now / Pending by
admin' above the Windows events, ordered by time.

Full suite 2124 passed, vitest 260 passed, naming/contract/parity gates green,
spec regenerated at 332 paths.

0f9ffdb2f1 Put the 6am answers at the top of the PC page, and stop saying things twice
Adds a shared triage band to the PC detail hero: is it alive, what stops
without it, how do I reach it.

'Serves machine' is the reason it exists. On a shop floor a PC matters because
a machine stops without it, and that fact was buried in the generic
relationships card at the bottom of the page. Both edge directions are read,
deduplicated, and filtered to assets typed 'machine' - production holds
reciprocal rows, so reading one direction shows the link on half the pages and
not the other half.

The band is a CORE component, not a PCDetail block. Five asset detail pages
already rebuild the same hero and grid independently, which is how they drifted
apart; machines, printers and network devices can drop this in rather than
growing a sixth copy. Liveness is passed in rather than fetched, because only a
plugin that collects telemetry can answer it and a site may not have one.

The status chip's verdict comes from the SERVER: /api/endpoints/<id> now
returns the same reporting/quiet/never it computes for the fleet list. The
quiet window is a site setting, so a threshold guessed in the browser would
disagree with the Fleet list about the same endpoint the moment a site changed
it.

Two cards removed from the body:

  - Remote Access duplicated the band's chips. It is what a responder clicks
first, so it belongs above the fold, once.
  - Status was worse than duplication. It reads the COMPUTER RECORD, while the
endpoint panel beside it reads live agent telemetry, and on an
agent-managed PC the record fields sit empty - so the page rendered 'Last
Reported: Never' a few inches from live telemetry saying otherwise. It now
renders only when that record actually holds something, which is the case
on sites running the asset-report script instead of the agent.

Verified against dev telemetry: band shows 'Reporting, 1 h ago', the machine it
serves, and its access chips; both duplicate cards are gone.

vitest 260 passed, naming/contract/parity gates green.

784964c907 Bring the wilm branch into main: endpoints plugin, agent, policies, CSV import
Ports the corporate-GitHub wilm branch onto main, keeping the two branches
separate. Thirteen upstream commits arrive with their authorship intact; the
review fixes and the portability work below are on top.

What arrives:

endpoints plugin - a ShopDB agent reporting endpoint state, telemetry,
services and interfaces, with a command channel the agent
long-polls. Ingest stays on the generic collector route
                      (ADR-006); the agent key is a UI-managed single-scope
token whose revocation is an instant kill switch.
computers policies - Configuration and Business Policies (RMM-style), scope
trees validated at write time, actions checked against
the endpoints command allowlist. Feature-gated: every
route 404s while the setting is off, so enabling it can
                      never half-expose the surface.
asset CSV import - templates, a collector script carrying the site path, and
                      a validate-then-commit import. A plugin can own a virtual
column plus a post-write row hook, which is how a PC's
machine number becomes a controls link without a
                      hand-built relationships sheet.
agent/ - the Windows agent and its installer.

Contract 0.21.0 -> 0.24.0, additive throughout: register_import_hook (0.22),
mint/list/revoke_service_token (0.23), collector_authorized (0.24). The stability
table had no rows for any of them and now does.

MySQL 5.6 portability. The branch stored three policy columns as sa.JSON, the
only JSON columns in the product, and 5.6 has no JSON type: the migration failed
with a bare syntax error near the word JSON. They are TEXT now, through a
JSONText type decorator, so all seventeen call sites still read and write dicts.
The convention elsewhere is already TEXT (guides.blocksjson,
geenforce.manifestjson).

Review fixes carried on top:

  - six policy GETs were jwt_required(optional=True), which authenticates a
caller without checking anything; they require computers.view now, and six
    redundant jwt_required decorators are gone
  - the agent installer took a default BaseUrl and CollectorKey, so a mistyped
run silently pointed an endpoint at the wrong instance; both are mandatory
and a non-https BaseUrl throws unless -AllowInsecureHttp is passed
  - a committing CSV import wrote no audit row

Documentation: the 34 new routes are described in docs/api-inventory.json, which
is hand-maintained on purpose, and the generated spec now covers 331 paths and
477 operations across 22 surfaces. DEVELOPMENT-SETUP's 1071 troubleshooting row
said "use MySQL 8 for dev" and now gives the actual fix, including the trap that
5.6 downgrades ROW_FORMAT=DYNAMIC to Compact with a warning instead of an error.

Full suite 2123 passed, vitest 260 passed, all seventeen plugin chains migrate
clean on MySQL 5.6 and the naming, docs, parity and read-surface gates are green.

dba8fc6071 Let somebody retire an asset without an API call
Five of the seven asset types had no way to take a record out of ShopDB from
the interface. Network devices and 3D printed parts had a button; machines,
PCs, printers and measuring tools did not, so a scrapped tool stayed in every
list and report until somebody went to the API.

The endpoints were already there and already correct. Every one of these
DELETEs sets asset.isactive = False and nothing more, so the record leaves the
lists while its calibration history, backups and relationships stay exactly
where they were.

Called "Retire" rather than "Delete" for that reason: the two existing buttons
say Delete, which reads as destruction of a record that is in fact kept and can
be restored by setting isactive back. The confirm says so too, because the
question somebody needs answered before clicking is whether the history goes
with it.

The button is guarded on the record having loaded, on the two pages whose
action row renders before the fetch resolves - measuring tools showed Retire
beside a hidden Edit while the tool was still loading, which would have called
delete with an undefined id.

printersApi had no delete method at all; added.

USB is deliberately left out. It retires through a status column in the
external CMMC database rather than isactive, has its own /retire endpoint, and
needs its own decision about what retiring means there.

ed5d64fa3e Name the record in the browser tab, not just the section
Every detail page read "West Jefferson ShopDB - Machine". Two tabs on two
different machines were indistinguishable, a bookmark said nothing about what
it pointed at, and a link shared into Teams previewed as the section rather
than the thing.

The router cannot fix this alone: afterEach runs before the view has fetched
anything, so it only ever knows the KIND of page. So a detail view names its
record once the record arrives, and both writers go through
composables/pageTitle.js.

THE ORDERING IS THE WHOLE PROBLEM. The router awaits the site settings to build
the "<facility> ShopDB" prefix, so on a cold load it finishes AFTER a view that
fetched quickly and would overwrite the good title with the generic one. The
route's fullPath is claimed before that await, and the generic write stands
down when a record title already belongs to the route being landed on. The
reverse case is handled too: a view that names its record BEFORE the facility
name arrives composed against the placeholder prefix, so the late resolve
rewrites it rather than leaving "ShopDB - CSF16" on a site called West
Jefferson. Both are pinned by tests, because both fail only under timing.

Covers machines, PCs, printers, network devices, subnets, measuring tools, USB
devices, printed parts, applications, employees, knowledge base articles and
guides. Printers reuse the page's own displayTitle, which already discards the
literal name "NONE" a discovered queue can carry, so the tab and the heading
agree.

A record with no usable name, or one that failed to load, keeps the section
name: "Machine" beats "Machine 4192" for somebody scanning a row of tabs.
Long names are cut at a word boundary - knowledge base articles are named with
a whole sentence of description, which a browser otherwise truncates mid-word.

Reports gained meta.title, which the router already supported and nothing used.
That also fixes "Pc Relationships", which the name-derived spelling produced.

5001aedcf9 Offer a spelling on every list, not just the global search
Some checks failed
CI / backend (push) Failing after 7m15s
CI / frontend (push) Has been cancelled
CI / migrations-mysql (push) Has been cancelled
CI / naming (push) Has been cancelled
Correction only helped on the global search page, and people search from the
list they are already on. Extending it turned out to be a shape question rather
than a volume one: thirty routes take a search parameter across a dozen files,
so carrying a suggestion in each of their responses is a large change today and
one more thing every future plugin author has to remember.

So the suggestion moved to ITS OWN ENDPOINT, /api/search/suggest, which any page
can call after rendering no rows. A page that has not adopted it shows nothing,
which is exactly what it showed before - nothing breaks by omission.

The plumbing lives in useListQuery, which already owned the search term, so a
list needs three lines: take `suggestion` and `reportCount` from the composable,
call reportCount(rows.length) after a fetch, and drop SearchSuggestion into the
empty state it already has. A list that never calls reportCount never offers a
suggestion.

Wired: global search, machines, printers, PCs, network devices, measuring tools,
knowledge base, vendors. NOT wired, deliberately: the type and reference lists
(machine types, PC types, VLANs, subnets, operating systems and the rest), which
are small controlled vocabularies nobody typo-searches, and USB, whose empty
state has a different shape and wants doing by hand rather than by pattern.

TRAP FOUND WHILE WIRING IT, and left commented in every page: applying a
suggestion by calling setSearch alone updates the box and the URL and does NOT
reload the list. setSearch only syncs the URL, and the watcher that would reload
is suppressed because search.value already holds the new term - the same trap
the global search page documents in performSearch. Each page calls its own load
function directly.

The composable guards a stale answer arriving after a newer search was typed,
never offers back the word that was typed, and swallows its own errors: a search
that found nothing is already the answer, and failing to improve on it is not
worth an error in front of anyone.

The route-parity gate caught the new endpoint being served without an entry in
docs/api-inventory.json, which is hand-written on purpose; added, and the spec
regenerated from it (283 paths, 418 operations). That regeneration also carries
the openapi version to 0.12.0, left over from the release.

e2c45d33bc One printer picker for machines and PCs, and one default per asset
The assignment belongs to the MACHINE, and until now there was no way to set it
except the generic relationships card or the API - the form for the thing the
feature is about did not exist. MachineForm now carries the picker, and PCForm
uses the SAME component rather than its own copy: the PC's set overrides the
machine's, and two implementations of that would drift, with the two ends of an
override disagreeing being exactly the bug nobody would spot.

The shared picker also fixes what PCForm did on save. It wrote row at a time
through the generic relationship endpoints, which is a non-atomic reconcile: an
HTTP failure part way left a PC half-assigned with nothing recording what was
meant. It now calls the reconcile endpoint, which validates the default before
writing anything.

A relationship type can now say it allows one active row per asset
(relationshiptypes.issingular, migration 7d34), and defaultprinter says it.
Cardinality belongs to the type rather than the printers plugin: core's create
path is where every hand-made link passes, and the next type meaning "exactly
one" gets the rule for free. Setting a second default REPLACES the first instead
of refusing, because "make this the default" means that - and a card answering
409 would leave the user hunting for the old row.

Without it the schema was happy to hold two defaults: the unique constraint is
(source, target, type), so two different targets are two valid rows, and the
resolver takes the OLDEST - the new default silently lost. Proven by disabling
the new rule and watching the tests fail.

FOUND WHILE TESTING IN A BROWSER, and it was not mine: MachineForm read
.data.data off computersApi.listAll(), which resolves to the ARRAY - fetchAllPages
has already unwrapped every page. The whole parallel load threw into the catch,
so every dropdown on the machine edit form came up empty and the machine's own
values never loaded. A build cannot see this; only opening the page can.

GET /api/printers/assignments/for-asset/<id> returns an asset's OWN assignment,
without inheritance, because the editor must show what this asset's rows say -
otherwise a machine's printers appear ticked on the PC that inherits them and
unticking one silently creates an override.

0dc0ac13c8 Assign printers to a machine, and let the PC that drives it inherit them
Printers belong to the bay, not to the box currently driving it. The assignment
goes on the MACHINE asset and reaches whichever PC controls it, so a reimaged or
swapped PC comes back with the right printers and nothing had to be saved off the
old one. The asset register is the backup.

New relationship type usesprinter ("this printer is installed here"), beside the
existing defaultprinter ("which of them is the default"), both seeded and both
given a propagation rail through controls. The rails are consumed at READ time
only: the create-time fan-out skips directional through-types, and controls is
directional, so assigning a printer to a machine does not copy rows onto its PC.
That is what keeps own-beats-inherited possible.

Resolution for a PC is its OWN rows if it has any, otherwise one hop out along
controls to the machines it drives. Whole set at a time, not merged: a PC with
its own assignment is overriding the bay deliberately, and the UI has to say so
or a tech "fixing" a bay by editing the PC will shadow the machine's record and
wonder why they keep disagreeing.

GET /api/printers/for-host/<hostname> is what the convergence client asks every
cycle. Resolved by hostname because the collector upserts PCs by hostname and an
office PC has no machine number. An unknown host, a site without the computers
plugin, and nothing assigned all return an empty set - that is the client's
designed no-op and it must stay indistinguishable from "assigned nothing".

PUT /api/printers/assignments/for-asset/<id> reconciles the whole set in one
call. The endpoint was specified, documented and asserted by three tests, and
never written - the verification pass caught that, with four failures. It
validates the default BEFORE any write, so a rejected request changes nothing;
soft-deletes rows that went away; and REACTIVATES soft-deleted rows rather than
inserting, because the unique constraint spans inactive rows and a blind insert
after an unassign raises IntegrityError on MySQL while passing on SQLite.

One default per asset, enforced here because the schema cannot: the constraint is
(source, target, type), which accepts two different defaults quite happily. Two
active defaults are still reachable through the generic relationships endpoint,
where the oldest silently wins - recorded in the proposal as the next thing to
close.

printerdrivers gains drivername: the exact string the INF declares, which
Add-PrinterDriver matches on and nothing else. Deriving it by parsing INFs on
hundreds of bays is fragile; a human confirming it once is not.

2083029ff2 Generate the collector script per site, and bring EventSaver into the repo
Some checks failed
CI / backend (push) Failing after 8s
CI / naming (push) Successful in 3s
CI / frontend (push) Successful in 10s
CI / migrations-mysql (push) Failing after 7s
A site adopting ShopDB had to be handed two files and told what to edit in them.
Both are now the product's, and one of them the server writes for you.

GET /api/computers/client-script (admin) returns Report-AssetToShopDB.ps1 with
this site's values already in it: site_base_url becomes the -ApiUrl default and
the new computers_routableranges setting becomes -AllowedRanges. Only the
PARAMETER DEFAULTS are substituted - the copy in plugins/computers/client/ stays
runnable, so there is no second version to drift from the first - and everything
stamped stays overridable by argument or registry, because a bay may need to
differ from its site. Settings > Computers > Asset reporter edits the ranges,
downloads the script and shows its SHA-256.

The collector key is deliberately not stamped in, and a test fails if it ever
is. That file lands on every shop-floor PC, and a token spread across hundreds
of bays cannot be rotated quietly; it stays in the registry, provisioned per
ADOPTING-AT-ANOTHER-SITE.md.

The routable ranges are the last thing that was hardcoded in that script. They
are now a setting, so West Jefferson's two CIDRs move out of source code and
into that site's own configuration - which is what ADR-015 asks for - and a site
that sets nothing still works, because the script falls back to the NIC carrying
the default route.

EventSaver joins it in plugins/slides/client/, source only: EventSaver.cs and
EventSaver.ini, no compiled .scr - a binary is a release asset, like the
installer exe. The share path that was compiled into Config.Folder is gone. It
used to be the fallback when the ini was missing, which silently pointed a new
site at the reference site's file server; it is now empty, and failing visibly
beats displaying another site's slides. Verified by compiling the edited source
in the Windows VM with the in-box csc.exe: 15,872 bytes, exit 0.

Also: the DSC example in the adoption guide gains a CollectorRanges resource and
stops passing -ApiUrl to a script that already reads BaseUrl from the registry
the same example writes, and the guide points at the generated download instead
of hand-editing a URL.

The contract test caught the endpoint importing shopdb directly for the version
string, which ADR-002 forbids a plugin from doing. The product and contract
versions are in app.config now, which a plugin reads through current_app.

Adds docs/proposals/printer-assignment.md: assign printers to a PC in ShopDB and
let the bay install them, with what the fleet data says about drivers - HP and
Xerox cover 41 of 44 printers with universal drivers, there are no Brother
printers at all despite 208 files of Brother inkjet drivers in the installer,
and printerdrivers holds one row pointing at a per-model folder instead of a
universal driver.

f34b9ca710 Carry the level everywhere a position is drawn, and gate it per occurrence
Some checks failed
CI / backend (push) Failing after 9s
CI / naming (push) Successful in 2s
CI / frontend (push) Successful in 11s
CI / migrations-mysql (push) Failing after 7s
The hover mini-map said "This asset has a position (2835, 1410) but no level"
for every asset in the product. When 0.11.0 gave LocationMapTooltip a levelid
prop, NONE of its seven call sites were taught to pass one - printer, machine and
PC detail pages, the toner report, enforcement reports, the warranty chip and the
dashboard cards - so the component correctly reported a missing level and the
preview never drew. Two payloads behind those views also emitted mapx/mapy with
no level: the toner report and the enforcement report.

The map PDF export had the ORIGINAL bug still in it: it plotted every filtered
asset onto the sheet, so exporting the ground floor printed second-floor markers
on it. Worse than on screen, because nobody can correct a sheet once it has been
printed and carried onto the floor. It now exports only the level being viewed.

The legacy import loader sent mapleft/maptop with no level at three call sites.
That loader is the one still to run against production, and every marker it
created would have been undrawable. It now resolves the site's default level -
the legacy schema predates levels and has one floor plan, so that is what its
coordinates mean.

THE GATE MISSED ALL OF THIS because it asked whether a FILE mentions 'levelid',
not whether each position does: one module emitted 'mapx' six times and 'levelid'
once and passed. It now checks per occurrence, covers scripts/ as well as shopdb/
and plugins/, and fails any Vue file that binds tooltip coordinates without
:levelid. Both new rules were confirmed to fail the build against planted
violations before being relied on.

Printer QR labels: the asset number is no longer printed. A label now reads name
(8201-HPLaserJetPro), QR, FQDN, then IP. The name falls back to the assetnumber
because that is where sites actually keep it - every printer here has an empty
name field, so preferring the Windows queue name alone would have printed a blank
line on every label.

3324dbd91e Buildings and levels for the floor map, and make every identifier searchable
Some checks failed
CI / backend (push) Failing after 9s
CI / naming (push) Successful in 2s
CI / frontend (push) Successful in 10s
CI / migrations-mysql (push) Failing after 7s
The map was one picture of one floor. A second floor was added, the blueprint
changed size, and machines moved, so a position now records WHICH DRAWING its
coordinates belong to.

Buildings and levels (ADR-017). Each level owns its blueprint per theme and its
own native pixel size; assets.mapx/mapy are pixels of assets.levelid, not of the
site. A position whose level is unknown renders "level unknown" and is never
drawn on the default level, because a marker on the wrong floor plan looks
entirely correct while pointing at the wrong place.

Repositioning in bulk: filter by unplaced, needs-review or level, search, place,
confirm. Landmark recalibration solves the transform PER AXIS from landmark
pairs and never from image dimensions - the canvas grew taller without
rescaling, so a dimension-derived scale would stretch Y by 1.57 and be wrong
everywhere. It defaults to a dry run, reports what would land off the drawing,
snapshots before applying, and clears mapverifiedat because a transform is a
guess awaiting review. Snapshots restore, including the level and the review
state, and a restore snapshots first so an undo is undoable.

Search: gaugelabreference was matched only for measuring tools and
maintenancereference was matched nowhere at all, for any asset type, while
Settings happily offers both identifiers on machines and PCs. A tag an operator
is told to record has to be findable or it is a write-only field. USB devices
and printed items were unreachable from search entirely - neither is an asset,
so the generic asset search could not see them and no searcher existed; they
now match on serial, asset tag, label, bin code and gage-lab tag, honouring
isactive, with Settings toggles and result labels to match.

The retired-application rule was half a rule: GET /api/knowledgebase hid
articles whose topic application is retired while global search still returned
them and printed the retired application as the subject. A filter is only real
if every path that reaches the row applies it.

Contract to 0.20.0 (additive): Asset gained levelid and mapverifiedat, Location
gained levelid, and resolve_asset_position returns the levelid belonging to
whichever source supplied the coordinates. The five plugins that write a map
position are re-pinned. The install-list text format gained levelid as a NINTH
field, appended, because the shipped Pascal installer reads fields 0-7 by index.

That installer still compiles in one drawing's dimensions and bundles one
blueprint, so its map is accurate for the default level only; /api/maplevels is
deliberately unauthenticated so it can read both at runtime once rebuilt.
Recorded in PRINTER-INSTALLER.md section 6 along with the other known gaps.

Migration 7d33 converts an existing single-map site into one building and one
default level carrying the old map_* settings, then assigns every placed asset
and location to it. Nothing moves on screen. Old settings rows are kept so a
rollback still finds them. Verified end to end on MySQL 5.6 from a
production-shaped database.

--bg-card is deliberately translucent in dark mode (rgba(0,0,61,0.4)) so cards
glass over the page; --bg-card-solid exists for the things that must not. Two
hand-rolled modal panels used the former, leaving the notification-type and
access-protocol editors transparent over the overlay with the table legible
through them. The shared .modal in style.css already got this right.

Also writes down the page-vs-modal rule the codebase already follows, since
nothing stated it: a record with a detail page gets a routed form page, a lookup
row that only exists inside its list gets a modal over that list. Plus the modal
rules from the overlay-close fix - data entry never closes on a stray click,
confirmations may, and panels are painted solid.

d8fe0a48b2 Stop a stray click outside a modal discarding what was typed
Some checks failed
CI / backend (push) Failing after 8s
CI / naming (push) Successful in 1s
CI / frontend (push) Successful in 8s
CI / migrations-mysql (push) Failing after 7s
Operators reported losing a part-filled form by clicking slightly outside it.
Every data-entry modal closed on a backdrop click with no warning and no way
back - the worst possible response to a misplaced click, and it happens most to
someone adding their first records at a new site.

Close-on-overlay is removed from 35 modals across 30 files: anything containing
an input, textarea, select or v-model. They still close by Cancel or the X.

Confirmation dialogs keep it, because a delete prompt holds nothing to lose and
dismissing one by clicking away is the behaviour people expect. VendorsList
shows the distinction - its edit form no longer closes that way, its delete
confirmation still does.

The shared Modal component now defaults closeOnOverlay to FALSE. Every current
caller holds a form, a checkout, a stock adjustment or a map position being
picked, and not one passed the prop, so all of them had the same fault. A modal
that genuinely wants dismissing that way opts in explicitly.

Also regroups the operator console menu, which had grown to numbers 1-9 plus
three letters bolted on with no order to them. Actions are now grouped by what
they touch, keyed by their first letter, and the old numbers still work so
nobody who has used it for months is stopped by a rearrangement.

The menu also warns when the server is not fully provisioned and names the key
that fixes it, instead of reporting it as ordinary status lines that read as
normal unless you already knew what to look for. That check is cached for the
session because it shells out to flask twice and the answer does not change
while somebody reads the screen.

cb18d170cf Say whose type it is

Two fields on the same page were both labelled "Type": the asset's own, and the
catalog model's. Only one of them was vague. "Model type" already says exactly
what it is; the bare "Type" did not say whose.

So the unqualified one is the one that changes. No new vocabulary, and "Model
type" reads correctly against it:

  Type  ->  Machine Type      (machines)
  Type  ->  PC Type           (computers)
  Type  ->  Printer Type      (printers)
Type -> Device Type (network devices)

Left alone everywhere the word is not ambiguous - measuring tools, subnets,
VLANs, notifications, supply types and the manifest editor have no model type on
screen to be confused with.

This is a labelling change only. It does not address the blank type column on
machines imported from the classic ASP database, which is a data gap the
backfill script fills; renaming a column heading was never going to put values
in it.

24266146d8 Show the model's type only when it differs from the asset's own

Adding a "Model type" row next to "Type" put two rows in the Hardware section
that read identically. They come from different tables - modeltypes is the
catalog-wide list spanning every kind of asset, machinetypes is machine-only -
but the names line up in practice: all 262 machines in the development database
match exactly, which is the same fact that makes the type backfill safe.

So the row now appears only when the two disagree, which is the case worth
seeing: a model catalogued as one thing fitted to an asset recorded as another.
When they agree it says nothing and is hidden. Applied to machines, PCs,
printers and network devices, each compared against its own type table.

3f320fcc8b Derive an asset's vendor from its catalog model, and show the model's own type
Some checks failed
CI / backend (push) Failing after 7s
CI / naming (push) Successful in 1s
CI / frontend (push) Successful in 8s
CI / migrations-mysql (push) Failing after 7s
An asset that carries a model but no vendor was showing a blank the database
could already answer: the model records its vendor, and both sides reference the
same vendors table. Machines, PCs, printers and network devices now fall back to
it.

The fallback is FLAGGED, not merged silently. to_dict sets vendorfrommodel and
the detail pages render "(from model)" beside the value, because the record
itself is still empty: the edit form shows an empty vendor box, and a page
implying the vendor is stored would be lying about where it came from.

The model's type is exposed under its own name, modeltypename, and shown as a
separate "Model type" row. It is deliberately NOT used to fill in the asset's
own type. modeltypes is the catalog-wide list covering every kind of asset - it
holds "Access Point", "Camera" and "Desktop PC" alongside the machine entries -
so it is a different taxonomy from machinetypes. Only about two thirds of the
names overlap, and mapping one onto the other would mistype the remainder, with
the failure mode being a machine labelled "Desktop PC".

scripts/backfill_vendor_from_model.py writes the derived vendor down for real,
since the display fallback leaves reports that read vendorid still seeing
nothing. It is a dry run unless given --commit, fills only rows where the
asset's vendor is NULL and the model names one, and never overwrites a vendor
somebody chose. It skips a table lacking either column, so it runs against a
server whose network migration has not been applied yet.

Verified against the development database by nulling one machine's vendor inside
a transaction: it was detected as fillable, restored to exactly its original
value, and the rollback left the row untouched.

FLASK_ENV is not forced by the script. The app already reads it from .env, and
overriding it demanded a SECRET_KEY the environment had no reason to supply.

b63690996a fix: location dropdowns rendered blank (wrong field) + require printer model
Some checks failed
CI / backend (push) Failing after 1m52s
CI / naming (push) Successful in 2s
CI / frontend (push) Successful in 9s
CI / migrations-mysql (push) Failing after 8s
The location option label read l.location, but the Location.to_dict() field is
locationname, so every option rendered blank - the dropdown looked empty and
"massive" (a long list of blank rows). Fixed across all five affected forms:
printers, computers, network devices, network device form, and the subnets
location filter. Other .location uses (printer-driver URL, search-result label,
report bylocation key) are legitimately different fields, left alone.

Also require a model on the printer form: asterisk + required attr, plus a JS
guard in savePrinter (the native required is skipped while the select is
disabled with no vendor picked) that points the user at the vendor first.

31139267d1 Fix model images 404 under a subpath mount (withBase)
Model image URLs are root-relative (/api/models/image/...), so on an /ops
subpath deploy the raw <img src> resolved to the server root and 404'd. Wrap
every model-image src in withBase(): machine/printer/PC/network detail heroes,
the models settings preview, and the machine-badge / asset-label print pages.
withBase leaves external http(s)/data URLs untouched.

592ff49abe ADR-013 Phase 4: extract the 11 plugin routes embedded in core.js
core.js still routed plugin-owned pages directly. Extracted all 11 into the
owning plugin's route file + moved their views into plugins/<name>/frontend/:
- computers: reports/pc-relationships, settings/pctypemapping
- printers: reports/toner, settings/printertypes, settings/zabbix (toner/supply
  monitoring)
- machines: settings/machinetypes
- network: settings/networktypes
- warranty: settings/dellwarranty
- slides: settings/slides (its route file gains a default export; it was
  toplevel-only)
- employees: NEW plugin frontend (employees/:sso + settings/employeedirectory) -
employees had no route file before; its pages lived only in core.js.

core.js now holds only core routes; all 14 bundled plugins are self-contained
under plugins/<name>/frontend/. Verified live: the extracted Machine Types
settings page renders in the settings rail from the machines plugin frontend.
Build + 58 vitest + naming green.

ebca0b00b0 ADR-013 Phase 4: relocate the remaining 9 plugin frontends (all 13 done)
Relocate warranty, measuringtools, network, printers, usb, notifications,
computers, and slides into plugins/<name>/frontend/. Each plugin's views are
pulled from wherever they lived (own dir, plus the shared views/settings/,
views/reports/, views/print/ dirs, and top-level views) into the plugin's
frontend/views/, and its route file becomes the self-contained routes.js.

Handled the messy cases:
- computers: name mismatch (its views live in views/pcs/) - moved by following
the route file's own imports, so the dir name did not matter. Its OS/access-
protocol/PC-type settings views move with it (only computers.js routed them).
- network: NetworkHub's sibling sub-views (NetworkDevicesList, SubnetsBrowse,
not directly routed) moved too so its `./` imports resolve.
- printers: the qrLogo helper is SHARED with core AssetLabel, so it stays in
views/print/ and PrinterQR imports it via @/views/print/qrLogo.
- slides: route file is toplevel-only (TVDashboard); SlideManager stays core
  (core.js routes /settings/slides).

frontend/src/views/ now holds only core views; frontend/src/router/routes/ holds
only core.js. All 13 plugins are self-contained under plugins/<name>/frontend/.
Verified live: Network (hub + moved sub-views), Computers (name mismatch),
GE-Enforce (helper), printedparts all render from their staged frontends. Build +
58 vitest + naming green.
