9c1c6c5729 fix: page past the 100-row cap in application pickers

get_pagination_params clamps perpage to MAX_PAGE_SIZE (100) and reports
nothing about having done so, so a caller asking for perpage: 1000 gets the
first 100 rows and a success response. Every picker built that way looked
complete and was not.

Found on a live site with 126 active applications: the 26 sorting last were
absent from the knowledge-base topic dropdown, so an article could not be
filed against them. Nothing was wrong with those application records, and
editing them could never have helped.

Adds fetchAllPages() to the api module, generalizing the one call site that
already handled this correctly (modelsApi.listAll), and points the four
application pickers at a new applicationsApi.listAll(): the KB article form,
the KB list's topic filter, the notification form, and the report filter
builder.

Lists that render a page at a time are untouched - they page for a reason.
Other callers still asking for more than 100 rows of vendors, locations,
models, subnets and the rest are latent: correct only while those tables stay
under 100, and silent on the day they do not.

3324dbd91e Buildings and levels for the floor map, and make every identifier searchable
Some checks failed
CI / backend (push) Failing after 9s
CI / naming (push) Successful in 2s
CI / frontend (push) Successful in 10s
CI / migrations-mysql (push) Failing after 7s
The map was one picture of one floor. A second floor was added, the blueprint
changed size, and machines moved, so a position now records WHICH DRAWING its
coordinates belong to.

Buildings and levels (ADR-017). Each level owns its blueprint per theme and its
own native pixel size; assets.mapx/mapy are pixels of assets.levelid, not of the
site. A position whose level is unknown renders "level unknown" and is never
drawn on the default level, because a marker on the wrong floor plan looks
entirely correct while pointing at the wrong place.

Repositioning in bulk: filter by unplaced, needs-review or level, search, place,
confirm. Landmark recalibration solves the transform PER AXIS from landmark
pairs and never from image dimensions - the canvas grew taller without
rescaling, so a dimension-derived scale would stretch Y by 1.57 and be wrong
everywhere. It defaults to a dry run, reports what would land off the drawing,
snapshots before applying, and clears mapverifiedat because a transform is a
guess awaiting review. Snapshots restore, including the level and the review
state, and a restore snapshots first so an undo is undoable.

Search: gaugelabreference was matched only for measuring tools and
maintenancereference was matched nowhere at all, for any asset type, while
Settings happily offers both identifiers on machines and PCs. A tag an operator
is told to record has to be findable or it is a write-only field. USB devices
and printed items were unreachable from search entirely - neither is an asset,
so the generic asset search could not see them and no searcher existed; they
now match on serial, asset tag, label, bin code and gage-lab tag, honouring
isactive, with Settings toggles and result labels to match.

The retired-application rule was half a rule: GET /api/knowledgebase hid
articles whose topic application is retired while global search still returned
them and printed the retired application as the subject. A filter is only real
if every path that reaches the row applies it.

Contract to 0.20.0 (additive): Asset gained levelid and mapverifiedat, Location
gained levelid, and resolve_asset_position returns the levelid belonging to
whichever source supplied the coordinates. The five plugins that write a map
position are re-pinned. The install-list text format gained levelid as a NINTH
field, appended, because the shipped Pascal installer reads fields 0-7 by index.

That installer still compiles in one drawing's dimensions and bundles one
blueprint, so its map is accurate for the default level only; /api/maplevels is
deliberately unauthenticated so it can read both at runtime once rebuilt.
Recorded in PRINTER-INSTALLER.md section 6 along with the other known gaps.

Migration 7d33 converts an existing single-map site into one building and one
default level carrying the old map_* settings, then assigns every placed asset
and location to it. Nothing moves on screen. Old settings rows are kept so a
rollback still finds them. Verified end to end on MySQL 5.6 from a
production-shaped database.

c28b02e45b Upload an application's image and installer instead of typing paths
Adding an application meant typing an image FILENAME and trusting someone had
dropped the file into the frontend's own directory by hand, and typing an
install path from memory. Both are uploads now, following the model-image trio
that models and part photos already use.

The two differ deliberately. The image is public, because application tiles
render before anything is authenticated. The installer is not: it is licensed
vendor software, an open URL would publish it to anything that can reach the
site, and it is always sent as an attachment rather than rendered.

Installers are capped at 500MB and the size is measured by seeking the stream
rather than trusting Content-Length, which a chunked upload does not send and a
client can understate. Anything larger belongs on the share, and the error says
so rather than just refusing.

Files are chosen before a new application exists, so they are held and uploaded
once there is an id to attach them to. A failed upload leaves the saved record
alone and reports, rather than losing what saved fine.

Removing an installer only clears installpath when it pointed at the upload - a
share path was typed by a person and is not ours to wipe. The detail page reads
both shapes, since entries from the classic site hold a bare filename that is
still served from /images/applications/.

0d40780f53 printers: printer installer map + install-batch endpoint
Rebuilds the classic printer-installer feature: pick printers on the shopfloor
map, download a .bat that installs them.

Backend (asset_routes.py): GET /api/printers/install-batch?printerids=1,2,3
returns a .bat attachment. Groups printers the way the classic installprinter.asp
did - HP/Xerox via the universal PrinterInstaller.exe /PRINTER="a,b,c", printers
with a .exe installpath via that installer /SILENT, and anything else (no
installpath, or a .zip) listed for manual install instead of being run blindly.
Download URLs derive from the site_base_url setting + the IIS-served /installers
folder (no hardcoded host). Reuses the existing install-list query shape.

Frontend: PrinterInstallerMap.vue - full-screen Leaflet shopfloor map (reuses
mapConfig), a marker per network printer at its mapx/mapy, click to toggle-select,
sidebar with the selection + an Install button that downloads the batch. Toplevel
route /printer-installer, printersApi.installList(), and an Installer Map button
on the printers list.

Tests: install-batch grouping (universal/specific/manual) + requires-ids.

e237cc2c05 dashboarddefaults: pick a kiosk from a dropdown (auto-fill FQDN) + Location wording
Adds GET /api/computers/display-kiosks - the displays that reported in (Kiosk
type), each with its derived FQDN (F<serial>.<domain>). The Dashboard Defaults
form gets a kiosk dropdown that fills the FQDN so admins pick a display instead
of typing an IP; IP stays an optional manual field. Table shows FQDN or IP.
'Business Unit' label -> 'Location' on this page + the settings nav.

printeditemfiles lands as the plugin's first incremental migration
(0002 on the plugin chain - the ADR-008 payoff). Revisions are
append-only per item: upload assigns the next number, records the
uploader from the JWT, enforces an extension allowlist and a 100 MB
cap; download serves the original filename; a permission-gated delete
covers wrong-file mistakes. The detail page gains the revision table
with a current badge. Unique storedfilename is sized 191 so the index
fits MySQL's 767-byte prefix - the per-plugin chain does not apply the
core env's ROW_FORMAT hook.

Alert recipients gain roles: Role joins the 0.13.0 surface, a role
picker on the settings page, and every active member of the selected
roles is folded into the deduped recipient list.

Retire button with confirmation on the detail page (item leaves the
storefront and the kiosk rejects its code; ledger history and label
survive), Restore on retired items, and an Include-retired list toggle
with a badge. Restore is its own permission-gated POST - the generic
update still cannot flip isactive. New codes mint as WJRP0042 style
without the dash; existing codes are immutable bin labels and keep
their form.

Two open endpoints: an item lookup by scanned code and the take POST -
the product's first unauthenticated write, held to the decision
record's bar (decrement-only, badge-attributed server-side, bounded,
physically rate-limited; justification in the plugin README). The
/parts-kiosk route is a full-screen no-auth view beside /shopfloor: a
hidden always-focused input consumes keyboard-wedge scans for
whichever step is active, TouchKeypad (net-new 3x4 grid) takes the
quantity, and a success screen resets after a few seconds. Manual
type-in fallbacks cover damaged labels. Kiosk test proves open access,
the over-take guard, the badge policy, and cache==ledger afterward.

Badge resolver copied from the USB contract (SSO digits, 0<digits>BZ
PayNo wrap) with names from the employees directory and the
unknown-badge policy setting; deliberately copied rather than
cross-imported so the contract test stays green. Restock and adjust
write the ledger row and move the cached quantity in one commit -
the single-commit invariant every write path must use. Adjust
requires a reason and refuses to drive stock below zero. Detail page
gains Restock/Adjust modals. Seven tests cover minting, the
cache==ledger invariant, badge shapes, policy toggle, and auth.

delete soft-retires. The image upload/serve/delete trio replicates the

Loader: bool() on pymysql bit(1) bytes is always true - isinstallable
and isshopfloor imported as 1 for every row; route through _truthy_bit.
The employee source DB is now optional (shopdb-only imports).

Frontend: under a subpath mount the 401 interceptor stored the browser
path (mount base included) as the login redirect and the router applied
its base again (/ops/ops). New stripBase() keeps redirects base-free.

tools/export-github.sh automates the publication flow: prune + scrub +
commit into ~/projects/shopdb-flask-pub and emit a transfer bundle.

The app can run as an IIS Application under an existing site
(e.g. https://host/ops/) instead of its own site + port:

- frontend: vite base via VITE_BASE_PATH; router history, axios
baseURL, and root-absolute asset/route paths resolve through
  utils/basePath.js withBase()
- backend: MOUNT_PATH (env or .env) wraps the app in a WSGI
middleware that shifts the prefix into SCRIPT_NAME, so one knob
serves API + SPA under the mount
- docs: INSTALL-WINDOWS-IIS.md section 7b runbook + troubleshooting
rows; DEPLOY-WINDOWS-IIS.md pointer; commented examples in
  deploy/windows/web.config and .env.example

Root deployment unchanged (MOUNT_PATH unset, base '/'). Also folds
two stray root-absolute callers into the shared plumbing
(MachineForm relationship-types fetch, reports CSV window.open).

Email: a stdlib SMTP mailer (settings-first config, graceful no-op when
unconfigured), a test-email endpoint wired to the Email settings page,
forced first-login password change (users.mustchangepassword, migration
7d23, /change-password flow), new-user welcome mail, and on-demand
report/alert delivery (POST /api/reports/email + Email Report buttons)
with an external-cron-with-a-scoped-PAT path documented for automation.
All tests patch smtplib - no network.

Labels: a shared /print/asset-label/<type>/<id> view any asset detail
page opens - card or plain style, QR or barcode, configurable encoding.
Per-type qr_target_* templates plus label_default_style/codetype/encodes
settings on the Printing page. Measuring-tool labels default to encoding
their inspection-operation code (derived from the location name, e.g.
0615), so every tool in an area shares the area code - verified by
decoding the rendered QR. Machine labels default to the machine number;
blank-serial handled gracefully.

808 tests pass; both features verified live.

12da0429b0 Preserve destination on session-expiry login; compact the tokens table
All checks were successful

The 401 interceptor (session expired) redirected to bare /login,
losing the page the user was on - the router guard already preserved
it but the expiry path bypassed the guard. The interceptor now carries
?redirect= like the guard does, and Login returns there.

The API tokens tables overflowed the card: the token column no longer
repeats the shopdb_pat_ prefix per row (short prefix shown, full form
on hover) - the token itself was already never displayed after
creation.

da86b3ae0c Add personal API tokens; wire measuring tools into remaining surfaces

API tokens: any user mints named, optionally-expiring tokens
(shopdb_pat_..., sha256-stored, secret shown once) at Settings > API
Tokens; a before-request shim swaps a valid PAT for a request-scoped
JWT of its owner, so the entire existing auth/authz/import-mode stack
works unchanged and revoked/expired tokens 401 cleanly. Built for
long-running scripts - the legacy import no longer dies when a login
JWT expires. Migration 7d21_apitokens; create/revoke audit-logged.

Audited integration gaps fixed: Asset.to_dict serializes measuring
tools (typedata + pluginid - relationship links to tools resolve); map
subtype filter/colors and MapEditor include them; dashboard totals
count them; warranty links use a new by-asset route; the measuringtools
ADR-010 hooks are real (corrected presentation token, implemented
map-overlay endpoint); the login avatar resolves through the
employee-photo helper.

737 tests pass; naming green; frontend builds; both features verified

1d21bf0206 Add photo management for models and employees; fix stale detail navigation
Some checks failed
CI / backend (push) Failing after 9s
CI / naming (push) Successful in 1s
CI / frontend (push) Successful in 7s
Model photos: upload/replace/delete on /api/models/<id>/image (admin),
stored under instance/modelimages/ with a public serve route; thumbnail
plus Upload/Replace/Remove controls in the Models settings modal; the
URL field remains as a manual alternative.

Employee photos, mode-aware: self-hosted directory employees get
upload/replace/delete (photo-<sso> under instance/employeephotos/,
employees plugin migration 0002); external directory mode passes the
HR-supplied picture URL through read-only (writes 409). One resolver
feeds both consumers - the shopfloor recognition/recert kiosk cards and
the employee detail hero - in either mode.

Navigation fix: router-view is keyed on route path, so following a
relationship link between two assets of the same type (machine ->
dualpath machine) reloads the page instead of showing stale content;
query-only URL changes still avoid a remount.

48d3160bc5 Rename the equipment domain to machines; retype the models catalog (ADR-011)
All checks were successful
CI / backend (push) Successful in 23s
CI / naming (push) Successful in 2s
CI / frontend (push) Successful in 8s
The equipment plugin is now the machines plugin, ending the UI-vs-code
vocabulary split while the contract is pre-1.0 and nothing external
depends on the old names.

- plugins/equipment -> plugins/machines: manifest, class, /api/machines,
machines.* permissions, registry key (with an auto-migrating load shim
  for existing installs).
- Tables: equipment -> machines (equipmentid -> machineid) and
equipmenttypes -> machinetypes, renamed in the plugin's own migration
chain (machines0002rename), idempotent for both upgrading and fresh
  installs.
- The legacy core machinetypes lookup actually types the vendor MODELS
catalog, so it is renamed losslessly to modeltypes
(models.modeltypeid, /api/modeltypes, Model Types settings page)
rather than collapsed, freeing the machinetypes name. Core migration
7d17_machines_rename also flips data in place: assettypes row
equipment -> machine, auditlog entitytype, identifier_/search_
settings keys, permission rows, and renames alembic_version_equipment.
- Frontend: machinesApi/modeltypesApi, item.machine response shape,
assettype value compares 'equipment' -> 'machine' (map, search,
custom fields, relationships), routes machines.js with plugin gating
retagged, /print/machine-badge, Machine Types (subtypes) and Model
Types (catalog) settings pages, machines-by-type report id.
- Docs swept; ADRs left as history per the authoring rule.

Upgrade: flask db upgrade then flask plugin upgrade-all.

Verified: dev DB flipped live (262 machines, 35 modeltypes, 95 models
retyped, zero equipment tables remain); fresh scratch-MySQL install
produces the new names; 341 tests green; naming/style green; frontend
builds; live E2E on machines list/detail, PC relationships, map,
reports, and both settings pages.

22e623c1f6 Plugin framework maturation, reports overhaul, theming, and USB frontend repair
Framework:
- Per-plugin Alembic migration chains (ADR-008): every bundled plugin
  carries its own chain with a stamp-only anchor at the ownership cutover;
new plugin schema lands in plugins/<name>/migrations/, never the core
chain. Deploys add flask plugin upgrade-all. Fixed a latent bug in the
shared alembic template (engine URL resolution) and taught the metadata
filter to include FK-referenced core tables.
- Frontend plugin route gating (ADR-009): plugin routes carry meta.plugin;
a disabled plugin's pages redirect to the dashboard via a cached,
fail-open check against the new public GET /api/plugins/enabled.
- get_reports() plugin hook (contract 0.5.0 -> 0.6.0): plugins contribute
report cards; warranty and toner cards moved off the hardcoded list.

Reports:
- Hub grouped by category with search; inline reports render at the top,
are URL-backed (?report=id, back-button and deep links work), expose
their server-side filter params as controls, and export CSV. Warranty
and Toner pages gained CSV export.
- Deleted the dead legacy Warranty Status report (always-zero buckets
  from a retired column).

Theming and fonts:
- Inter (variable) bundled locally via @fontsource, replacing the Google
Fonts Roboto import - air-gapped installs now render correctly; tables
  use tabular numerals.
- Optional brand_primary_dark_color, brand_accent_color,
brand_sidebar_color settings applied to CSS vars at bootstrap.

USB frontend repair (views were reading a dead legacy shape):
- List/detail/form and the employee profile USB panels remapped to the
real API shape (device_id/device_desc/checkinoutlog); employee panels
  now use /usb/checkouts endpoints; external-mode /usb/checkouts/active
honors the badge filter; dead client methods pruned.

Also: warranties list page no longer requires login (matches app
convention); collector doc rewritten with a GE-Enforce integration guide
and paste-ready PowerShell reporter; ADR index and CHANGELOG updated.

Verified: 323 tests pass, naming/style green, frontend builds, plugin
migration dry-run green on scratch MySQL.

Make the app distributable to other GE Aerospace sites (one self-hosted
instance per site, ADR-004). GE values remain the shipped defaults; every
site-specific behavior is now a Setting an admin can change in the UI.

Settings-driven site config:
- Branding: site/QR/badge logos, favicon, primary color (upload endpoints
mirror the map-blueprint pattern; new Settings > Branding section).
- ServiceNow: search/incident/change URL templates ({ticket}), ticket
prefixes, enable toggle. Defaults point at the current
  geaerospaceqa.service-now.com global search. Disabled = plain-text tickets.
- Employee-id regex (employeeid_pattern), printer hostname template,
QR label targets (qr_target_printer / qr_target_usb, blank = asset page,
else URL template with placeholders), usb_label_style (barcode|qr).
- West Jefferson floor-plan PNGs removed from the tree; generic placeholder
ships as the map default and sites upload their own blueprint.

Security closeout:
- dashboarddefaults writes now require admin.
- Collector: generic error messages (no str(exc) leak); API key accepted
via X-API-Key header only (BREAKING: querystring api_key removed).
- IP-based login rate limiting (AUTH_RATELIMIT_* knobs) atop account lockout.
- Setting.set() creation race fixed (IntegrityError retry).

Release engineering and docs:
- __version__ 0.5.0 (distinct from __contract_version__, ADR-007),
CHANGELOG.md, Gitea Actions CI config, frontend version aligned.
- One wizard-first install story across README/DEPLOY; new CONFIG.md,
  UPGRADE.md, BACKUP-RESTORE.md; CLAUDE.md and ROADMAP de-staled.
- Dockerfile multi-stage build now bundles the frontend; compose binds
MySQL to 127.0.0.1; stale database/schema.sql and one-off SQL removed.

Debt and fixes:
- .query.get() -> db.session.get() sweep; datetime.utcnow() removed
(naive-UTC via timezone-aware now); users.py on authz decorators.
- Fixed 4 stale tests (slides feed shape, shopfloor splitperemployee,
plugin contract purity) and the USB label page field mapping (both usb
modes emit the cmmc shape: device_id/device_desc).
- Health endpoint reports the real version.

248 tests pass; naming/style check green; frontend builds; fresh-DB
flask db upgrade + seeds verified; QR targets verified by decoding
rendered codes.

next migration's version bump matched 0 rows and `flask db upgrade` died at
7d03 on a fresh DB. Now upgrades run clean to head.
- flask db-utils preflight: checks Python, required env, DB connectivity, and
  the MySQL 5.6 utf8mb4 index flags (innodb_large_prefix/Barracuda) - the 767
prerequisite - and prints exact fixes. Exits non-zero on blockers.
- flask seed admin --username --email [--password]: real first-admin command
(generates + prints a password once). The docs referenced it but only the
  dev-only test-user existed.
- setup endpoints for a UI-driven first run: /setup/needs-admin,
  /setup/create-admin (guarded to zero-users), /setup/seed-reference.
- Wizard: drop the PC-access-domain question (always .device.geaerospace.net);
  the setting keeps its default.

b26d0d1b87 Upload floor-map blueprints (light/dark) instead of typing a path
The Floor Map settings only had text fields for the blueprint image path with
no way to upload one. Add a real upload.

- POST /settings/map-blueprint (multipart: file + theme) saves the image to the
  instance maps dir and points map_blueprint_<theme> at the served URL;
GET /settings/map-blueprint/<file> serves it (public - kiosks read the map).
- Settings > Floor Map: a file picker + thumbnail next to each theme's field
(still accepts a manual path/URL too).

56b7874f8d Self-hosted employee directory (in-app management + CSV import)
Most sites have no external HR database, so add a self-hosted directory mode.

- New employee_directory_mode setting: 'external' (default; read a separate HR
DB, unchanged) or 'selfhosted' (app-owned table).
- DirectoryEmployee model + directoryemployees table (migration 7d16). to_dict
emits the same keys the external contract uses (SSO/First_Name/...), so both
modes share one response shape and the frontend is unchanged.
- Employee search / single / batch lookup branch on the mode.
- Self-hosted-only management endpoints: list, create, update, delete, and CSV
import (upsert by SSO). Guarded so they only work in self-hosted mode.
- EmployeeDirectory.vue management page (Settings > Locations & Organization):
table + search + pagination, add/edit/delete, CSV import (file or paste).

843b225a47 First-run setup wizard (/setup)
- setup_complete site setting; a fresh admin is steered to /setup until it is
  finished (skippable for the session).
- SetupWizard.vue: Site (facility/base-url/access-domain), Features (plugin
enable/disable), Floor Map dimensions, Starter Data (seed common vendors),
Finish. Reuses the settings + plugins APIs.
- setup blueprint: POST /setup/seed-starter (idempotent common vendors) and
POST /setup/complete. setupState composable drives the router redirect.

ec2de635ed Warranty polish: hero badges everywhere, search/pagination, re-check, shared apiError
- Shared utils/apiError.js reads the correct nested error message (with
fallbacks); swept 37 views/components off the shallow path so real backend
messages (e.g. in-use 409s) surface instead of generic "Failed".
- useWarrantyBadge composable: warranty hero status/end-date badge now on PC,
equipment, printer, and network detail heroes (one shared fetch feeds the
  badge + the WarrantyPanel).
- Warranties list: client-side search (vendor/level/tag/asset) + pagination;
truncate long service levels so they stop blowing out the table width.
- "Re-check all" button + POST /warranty/sync/dell?all=true to re-pull dated
Dell warranties, not just missing ones.
- Deprecate the standalone pxe-images/warranty_sync.py in favor of the plugin.

640b8de1b2 Bulk Dell warranty sync + add-warranty from asset pages
- POST /warranty/sync/dell: auto-detect Dell hardware by service tag (asset
serial) and create warranties for the ones Dell recognizes, in batches of 100.
Only looks up assets that lack a dated warranty, so re-runs are cheap and
non-Dell serials are filtered out by Dell. DellProvider.bulk_lookup batches
  tags over the cached token.
- "Sync Dell" button on the Warranties page with a toast summary.
- WarrantyPanel "Add one / Add-manage" links deep-link to the warranties add
modal pre-linked to that asset (?addfor=); WarrantiesList opens it prefilled.

78a0ee8d83 Add custom fields + warranty plugin, rework settings into two-pane shell
Feature work from the 2026-07 session:

Settings IA
- Replace the flat 27-card settings hub with a persistent two-pane shell
(SettingsLayout.vue): grouped, searchable left rail + content pane.
- Nest all settings/* routes under the shell via router post-processing;
shared nav catalog in settingsNav.js. Group by asset class (PCs, Printers,
Equipment, Network) so per-type settings stop scattering.

Custom fields (core)
- customfields + customfieldvalues tables (migration 7d14), CRUD API at
  /api/customfields, per-asset value get/save.
- Settings management page + reusable CustomFieldsSection (detail) and
CustomFieldsInputs (form) wired into all four asset types.

Warranty (new plugin)
- plugins/warranty: warranties + warrantyassets (migration 7d15), derived
coverage status, provider abstraction (manual now; Dell/Lenovo/HP stubs).
- API CRUD + per-asset panel + report buckets; WarrantyPanel on all four
detail pages; Warranties management page; Warranty report + Reports card.
- Seed warranty.* permissions.

Printer drivers
- printerdrivers table (migration 7d13) linked to printer models; drivers now
surface on the matching printer's detail page.

Other
- PCDetail rebalanced (Network + Status + Warranty + custom fields on the right).
- Rename PCs list "Features" column to "Remote Access"; fix badge hover underline.
- Drop equipment islocationonly field.
- Centralize asset-type label/route maps into utils/assetTypes.js.

a4b98e10db Add dashboard defaults (visitor-IP -> business-unit) for kiosk displays
Classic feature gap: a shopfloor/lobby kiosk auto-selects which business unit to
show based on the display PC's IP (classic dashboarddefaults table +
apivisitorlocation.asp). For the main admin dashboard this does nothing - it is
kiosk/visitor-display infra.

- Model: DashboardDefault (dashboarddefaults: ipaddress unique, businessunitid
  FK, description). Migration 7d01_dashboarddefaults (head).
- API (core, /api/dashboarddefaults): CRUD + GET /visitor-location that resolves
the calling display's business unit from its IP (X-Forwarded-For/remote_addr,
or explicit ?ipaddress=); unmapped IP returns a null businessunitid, not an
error. Unauthenticated resolve (kiosks); writes are admin.
- Frontend: ShopfloorDashboard auto-selects its business unit via visitor-location
on load when none is chosen; Settings > Dashboard Defaults CRUD page +
  dashboardDefaultsApi client.

Tests: create + resolve by IP -> BU; unmapped IP -> null; duplicate IP 409.
191 tests pass, naming green, app boots, endpoint + admin page verified live.

59ef0220b5 Add web UI to enable/disable plugins
GET /api/plugins now lists all discovered plugins (enabled or not) with status;
PUT /api/plugins/<name> toggles enabled (persists to plugins.json). New
Settings > Plugins admin page with per-plugin toggles. Route changes apply on
next restart. Replaces CLI-only enable/disable for self-serve admin.

6fb8adc256 Add locationtypes + location tree (ADR-001)
- New locationtypes lookup (LocationType model) seeded with section, cell,
subcell, operation, meetingroom, lab, office, storage, hallway,
  networkcloset, building.
- locations gains locationtypeid + parentlocationid (self-FK) for the site
location tree. Migration 7c03; cli reference-data seeds the types.
- GET /api/locations/types; locations CRUD accepts type + parent; list/detail
  return locationtypename + parentlocationname.
- Locations settings page: Type column + Type/Parent selectors in the modal.

Realizes the operation-as-Location model (operations are locations with
locationtypeid='operation').

b0a0670fcd Retire the legacy Machine model (ADR-001 cutover)
The asset/computer model is now the single source of truth. Remove the Machine
instance layer end to end:

- Delete models Machine, MachineStatus, PCType, MachineRelationship,
InstalledApp, PrinterData; keep MachineType (models.machinetypeid still
  references it).
- Delete the /api/machines, /api/statuses, /api/pctypes blueprints and the
  legacy /api/printers/legacy (PrinterData) blueprint.
- Drop the deprecated communications.machineid column and its FK.
- Migration 7c01 drops tables machines, machinestatuses, pctypes,
  machinerelationships, installedapps, printerdata (idempotent).
- Fix remaining readers (applications install counts) to ComputerInstalledApp.
- Frontend: remove dead machinesApi/statusesApi/pctypesApi wrappers; repoint
the PC Types settings page at computer types.

143 tests pass; all asset/computer/dashboard/report/collector endpoints 200.

167a9514cf Move relationship types + dashboard recent off the machines blueprint
- Add /api/assets/relationshiptypes (GET/POST) serving RelationshipType; point
relationshipTypesApi at it instead of the legacy /api/machines blueprint.
- Dashboard recent-devices widget reads assetsApi.list (asset shape) instead
  of machinesApi.

No frontend code references machinesApi anymore.

- Wire gauge/maintenance refs + identifier toggles into equipment pages.
- Repoint status dropdowns and Settings>Statuses to asset statuses.

- Per-type identifier labels; printer detail title fallback.
- Fixes: truncate long description cells, opaque supply modal, readable
  dark-mode autofill, drum/waste default colorless.
